The Founders’ Weekend Slack is a free, confidential Slack group created by founders, for founders in CPG and tech. It’s a space exclusively for founders—with very few to no non-founders. Please note, this is not a platform for soliciting business, favors, or confidential information.

We’ve spent half a decade thoughtfully building this community and network, focusing on depth, trust, and meaningful relationships. This is not just another Slack group, members’ club, or LinkedIn, and it’s certainly not a shortcut for personal gain. We expect each member to treat this space with respect, understanding that its value comes from genuine connections, mutual support, and a high standard of engagement.

Membership & Onboarding

Admissions:

Admission to the Slack group is considered on a quarterly basis and referrals don't necessarily guarantee we'll add the person. Those interested can apply above.

Please do not email, text, or Slack Grace or Eva to get friends admitted.

Profile Creation:

Every new member completes a profile to introduce their business and what they offer.

Introduction:

Post a personal introduction in the designated channel within your first week.

Process

Participation:

Active involvement is expected. Inactivity will result in removal.

Confidentiality:

What’s shared in this community stays in this community. Do not share conversations, insights, or contacts outside the group without permission.

Reciprocity First:

Before asking for help, make sure you’ve contributed to the community. Share knowledge, offer support, and build trust through giving before you take.

Acknowledge Contributions:

Always express gratitude when someone helps you. Failing to acknowledge support discourages participation and undermines the community spirit.

Please Don't

No Solicitation or Business Development:

This community is not a platform for fundraising, pitching your company, or poaching talent. Avoid using this space for business development, recruiting, or self-serving promotion.

No Self-Serving Event Promotion:

This is not the place to build guest lists for your events or solicit contributions. If that's your interest, contact brand founders separately and not on the public Slack. We prioritize collective support, not individual gain.

Event Invitations without Value:

Social invites are welcome when they’re casual and fun. If your event involves sponsorships, business opportunities, or networking for business gain, this is not the right platform as we are not in the business of selling our members as your guest list.

No Social Climbing:

Don’t use this space to advance your network without giving back. Engaging solely to promote yourself or your events goes against the spirit of reciprocity and collaboration.

No Unsolicited Offers:

Avoid promoting your products, services, or expertise without a clear request from another member. Look for natural opportunities to help, rather than forcing self-promotion.

No External List-Building:

Using this community to gather contacts for external initiatives, newsletters, or marketing purposes is prohibited and will result in removal.
